useful WildStar Crafting strategy

To craft an item, you have to have a proper Tradeskill (for schematics) and resources. Some resources may be bought from a trader next to the crafting table but other needs to be gathered. When you have resources, you can start creating. Click on the schematics and then on “Preview” to get into crafting window.

You have to fulfill all slots with plus sign. You can distinguish here slots for item and for statistics bonus. If you have for example slot for Powercore, you need to have one in your equipment. This may be bought usually from a merchant standing nearby.

When you select all of those things notice the power bar (the orange one at the bottom). If it’s not full, you can increase statistics bonus. When you exceed it, it’ll increase the failure risk.Besides the standard Paths, there is also Cooking for everyone and also Rune Craft. The latter is to create Runs to improve your equipment.

To create a rune, you need to find proper components. List of them is shown in the window of rune crafting when you use the crafting table. While creating runes, on right you’ll see the items with free rune slots. You have to notice what type of rune you can insert to the item.

Notes:Some items cannot be bought and found. To get them, you have to use an option “Salvage”. Each weapon and armor may be take apart on pieces for resources. It’s enough to drag such a thing on an icon next to the Tradeskill bag.Tools are necessary for collecting materials when you have Tradeskill like Mining or Relic Hunter. You can buy them from merchants nearby the crafting places. You have three tools:
Laser Pickaxe – Mining
Relic Blaster – Relic Hunter
Laser Chainsaw – Survivalist

The preview of WildStar classes

wildstar classes preview

There are currently four classes available in WildStar, with two more hidden over the horizon. Classes are chosen during character creation, and cannot be changed. The currently released classes are described below:

The Warrior
Roles: Tank, Melee DPS
Weapon of Choice: Tech Sword
Armor: Medium / Heavy
Primary Attribute: Strength (DPS) / Technology (Tank)
Resource: Kinetic Cells

Warriors are the melee bashers of WildStar. Their job is to step into the fray and deal and soak up tons of damage. Wielding powerful tech swords (worth noting: swords are the only type of weapon they use, meaning no space axes or hammers) and an arm cannon, Warriors are the clear melee fighter archetype with a cool sci-fi twist, including a grappling claw and a laser saw. The Warrior gameplay is based on using more basic attacks to charge up Kinetic Cells, and then using those Kinetic Cells to power the Warrior’s more destructive attacks, creating a flexible rhythm of combat.

The Spellslinger
Roles: Healer, Ranged DPS
Weapon of Choice: Dual Pistols
Armor: Light
Primary Attribute: Dexterity (DPS) / Wisdom (Healing)
Resource: Mana / Spell Surge

The Spellslinger is somewhere between a pistoleer and an arcane mage. The Spellslinger wields two mag pistols, which allow them to charge magical spells into their gun’s attacks. Spellslingers are agile and mobile, kiting their enemies and using debilitating magic to keep them on the chase, all while blasting them down. The Spellslinger has access to a wide variety of magical blasts and attacks using their mag pistols, and they use lots of area effect (AoE) abilities. Using their special ability Spell Surge, a Spellslinger can modify their array of abilities to have different effects, such as stunning or applying a damage over time (DoT) effect.

The Stalker
Roles: Melee DPS, Tank
Weapon of Choice: Claws
Armor: Light
Primary Attribute: Dexterity

Stalkers are sneaky assassins who combine a wide array of stealth and deception tactics with brutal combat attacks, and powerful defensive systems. The Stalker is more than just a rogue, capably filling the tanking role in WildStar. The Stalker’s weapon of choice is Claws, a pair of large Wolverine-style blades that extend from their arms. Stalkers use an array of other tools and weapons, including cloaking devices, proximity mines, hologram illusions, and more. The Stalker will be a class for which positioning and player reaction will be important factors for success. With the sweeping attacks (read: cone AoE) and battlefield control maneuvers that a Stalker has at their disposal, players will have to carefully consider how they want to approach each combat situation.

The Esper
Roles: Ranged DPS, Healer
Weapon of Choice: Psyblade
Armor: Light
Primary Attribute: Magic (DPS) / Wisdom (Healing)
Resource: Mana / Focus Points
Resource: Suit Power

The Esper is a power psionic caster who uses a combination of controlling magic and summoned weapons to quickly dispatch their foes. The Esper’s primary weapon is the Psyblade, a weapon made from the telepathic energy that is the Esper’s strength. By harnessing the Psyblade in different ways, the Esper is able to create a wide range of different attacks, including AoE effects and and deadly illusions that function as short-term pets. In combat, Espers use two resource pools, drawing on mana to cast their spells, and enhancing their abilities with Focus Points that are built by using skills (similar to combo points in other games). The Esper is a mobile master summoner that combines control, support, and offensive abilities in a deadly flourish of telepathic might.

The useful Grear for the Engineer Class in WildStar

wildstar engineer gear

The Engineer on Wildstar Online is truly a force to be reckoned with. This class comes complete with a killer arsenal, which wonders in not only inflicting damage, but also providing a variety of colorful weapons to choose from. This way, not only will you be able to defeat your enemies in a fiery blaze of glory, but you as an Engineer, you will also look great while doing so. The engineer’s weapon arsenal has some unique additions for your character to play with, which are exclusive only to the engineer class and no others.

As far as weapons go, for starters, you have launchers. Nothing says intimidating like a weapon so huge, your character has to lean backwards while running, just to carry it. Don’t worry about your enemy seeing you coming, with a launcher’s wide range of attack, they will be much too busy trying to dive behind the nearest large object, in order to avoid what they know is coming. LaunchCorp’s Launch-O-Matic QT-Pi Ultra-Standard is a model worth mentioning, due to its snazzy appearance and the guarantee that you will be a total monster on the battle field.

Look great while you’re fighting back the enemy in the Exo Suit, exclusive only to the Engineer class. The suit comes with numerous combat modes, all of which are guaranteed to protect you from more than just the elements. With special abilities that are available only with one equipped, it only makes sense that the suit would have a function to it beyond plain improvement in appearance.

Bots are probably the biggest deal, when it comes to the Engineer class and the gear exclusive only to it. Bots have many number of uses and they come in numerous different forms. With each form, of course, you have a certain ability that is special to it alone.Of course, the examples given are only the tip of the iceberg, when talking about gear for the Engineer.

Tips and Tricks for you to aventure in Nexus as an Esper

wildstar Esper tricks

Let’s get into another one of delicious WildStar classes. This one’s called the Esper. The esper is a flashy telekinetic illusionist that uses his mind to heal and do damage from varying distances, basically combining Professor X with the Green Lantern.

Remember, the esper has a light armor so keep your distance and stay on your
toes. The following tricks for you to combat better in Nexus!
1.Learn to make use of two concentrated blades whenever you can. By making use of two blades during combat, you have the opportunity to cast another ability as soon as the first blade hits its target and move before the second blade reach its target. When done correctly, this technique can surprise your enemies and do a lot of damage before they even have the chance to respond.

2. Learn the abilities that you can use to stand still during casting and the ones you can use to move immediately after casting.

3. While getting yourself acquainted with the abilities needed to stand still and move during and after casting, you should make crush your friend. Knock down your enemies and move as fast as you can.

4. In order to increase your efficiency in combat, you need to thoroughly understand and know the right time to use many of your powerful abilities that come with a cool down timer.

The Paths Guide for wildstar beginner

wildsrar paths

Paths is a big part of the game, and let’s you choose your own playstyle. The different paths are basically all different ways to play the game, and you can choose any of the four paths with any race and class combination.Paths level independently of your regular level, but is a major part of the game.If you’re into exploring, go for the Explorer path. If you’re into regular MMORPG quests, go for the Soldier path.

The Soldier is gonna get a lot of missions about attacking and defending targets. These could be a lot like quests we know and love from other MMORPG games, such as “find and kill target X” or “kill X of that enemy”. You also get some cool quests like defend a base from enemy attacks, or even to use explosives to take over a new holdout.

If you are one of the people who just needs to explore every single inch of every virtual map, the Explorer path is just right for you! This path gives you quests where you have to explore certain objects on Nexus, complete maps, find rare artifacts or even arrange exploration expeditions. Sounds boring, does it not? Fear not, Explorers are not gonna have an easy time, because Nexus is filled with lots and lots of hostile enemies, so you’re in for a fight or two!

The Settler path focuses on building towns, supplying resources to towns and cities, and defend the same towns. This path let’s you make sure the town is safe, secure and is being improved, and have a lot of cool quests waiting for you.

Scientists have an important job in WildStar, and the mainly get a lot of quests to kill, collect and catalogue the different species on Nexus. You will also be tasked to fix stuff, collect spare parts as well as collect and index a the botanics on Nexus.

wildstar tutorial

Is the tutorial mind-numbingly boring

wildstar tutorial

Most of our loyal customers can be our good friends, we always share everything about the MMOS.Recently we talked something about WildStar. One of them told us he loves everything AFTER the tutorial. But its a problem. He has two friends who are half ass interested in Wildstar who he’d like to play with, and both of them say that if the rest of the game is like the faction ships, then they won’t play.It seriously either needs to be skippable for people who understand how MMOs work and are experienced elsewhere, or be a lot faster. If this is the first thing a new player has to experience, I’m afraid it may turn off many potential buyers with how frustratingly boring it is.”

Actually,The tutorial zone does a great job of introducing the main concepts and mechanics behind the game. It slowly introduces questing, UI navigation, combat, and tracking content in a fairly consistent and understandable manner.

The problem is this seems like it exists solely for that purpose. I think “fun factor” was not on anyone’s mind when designing it. At least, that’s how the Dominion one feels.
I think you would be well advised in offering a tutorial skip after the first character on the account. That’s a great interim solution, but further on down the road, fixing up that tutorial should be a priority when you make your first post-launch marketing push.

What’s your mind on “The Tutorial” ? Do you think it boring ?

wildtar class

Let’s go dominate some Exiles !

 wildtar class

Greetings future adventurers of Nexus. Lets face it, we know that we have a bit of an.. Obnoxious Exile infestation on Nexus. We cannot let the Exiles inhabit a planet obviously left for us by the Eldan! I’ve been known to get into a brawl or two in the virtual world. WildStar will not be an exception! Come join me as I tell you how we can exterminate the Exiles off Nexus.

Are you not entertained?
When you’re done exploring Nexus why not test your strength in the arena? In the underworld of Nexus lies a downed Marauder Ship where people go to compete in 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 competitions. This isn’t the arena you’re used to–it’s no longer about single elimination matches. Each team will get set of respawns depending on size of the teams. Don’t feel like competing but still want to fight? Worry not, you can queue up for non-ranked matches with PUGs!

Yes, Warplots! Buy a plot of land and gather 40 of your guildmates or War Party and queue up for some instanced carnage! Don’t have a War party?! What are you waiting for?! Build a kick ass fort of doom, with big ass death rays and attack helicopters! Not enough for you? Why not unleash a captured raid boss and let it loose on your unfortunate opponents!

But wait there’s more!
With the unique mechanics Nexus offers, fighting in the open world just got more interesting. Features like double jump, sprinting and telegraphed skillshots are sure to bring a new level of engaging combat. We haven’t seen everything about how PVP yet, they have not revealed how paths will work in PvP. How about Settlers building turrets and traps around enemy hubs, anyone? I sure as hell going to try. With E3 right around the corner who knows what they might reveal next!
